The pictures in this album come from the personal album of Tom Becker. Tom was a member of 2-2 Squad, B Company, 2nd Battalion 22nd Infantry in late 1968 and early 1969. Tom was Killed in Action on March 6th, 1969 taking part in the rescue of an ambush patrol that had been discovered. This picture, reflects Tom's trademark smile. He always smiled that happy, confident smile, it is one of the reasons we liked him so much. It didn't matter what was going on, Tom was always happy and it was contagious. The pictures were provided to us by Dianne Pierce, his loving sister. Diane, we are proud of your brother, he truely reflects our motto, "Deeds, Not Words".
